Microgaming is going to put in an IP block for the 13 banned states in the US. This means that if a player logs on with an IP from any of these states they will not be able to enter the poker client.
This is happening for ALL Microgaming rooms
The banned states are:
1. Illinois
2. Indiana
3. Kentucky
4. Louisiana
5. Michigan
6. Nevada
7. New Jersey
8. New York
9. Oregon
10. South Dakota
11. Washington
12. Wisconsin
13. Utah
Things to note:
* This is not a new rule, just sudden enforcement of an old one.
* Players can still play in the Sportsbook.
* Players can still register from the banned states but will not be able to play in the Poker client or in the Casino.
* The IP blocking service Microgaming is using also has a proxy detector, so players will no longer be able to use a proxy to hide their IPs.

Pimp-Your-Poker Welcomes US Players With OPEN ARMS
Question:
When are our poker playing cousins across the pond gonna get a break and enjoy the game they love so much?
Answer: 1st November 2008 1400 ET When the floor manger announces "Shuffle up and Deal" for the 1st historic hand in a historic game.
The 1st of Pimp-Your-Poker's 134 Freerolls in November ranging from $15 short stacks upto a whopping $3000 deep stack game. All with a maximum 2000 players and all accessable to you for a low low subscription of just $10 a month.
It would be rude not to join at that price.
For $10 a month I strongly suggest you Pimp-Your-Poker
